BASIC USES
Dynatrol® II is designed for use inexpansion and control joints in precastpanels, tilt walls and curtainwalls;bedding panels, coping joints, windowand door perimeters, glazing, masonry,green concrete, traffic, acoustical andfirestopping applications. Its wide colorrange and low modulus make it highlyeffective in exterior insulated finishsystems (EIFS).
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Dynatrol® II is a multi-component highperformance non-sag elastomeric sealantthat creates a tenacious bond andwatertight seal between materials ofsimilar or dissimilar surface textures,porosities or expansion coefficients.Fire Rated Systems: Four-hour fireand temperature rated wall and floorDesign Joint systems up to 3" (75 mm)wide can be designed with Ultra Block®fire-blocking material and/or mineral woolfire safing.These designs have been full scale testedand classified by UnderwritersLaboratories, Inc. and appear in theUL Fire Resistance Directory, Vol. 2.Ref: Standard "Fire Tests of BuildingConstruction Materials," ANSI/UL 263,ASTM E119, NFPA No. 251.Consult Pecora Technical Bulletin #85J(PEC201) for a complete listing of PecoraFirestop Systems.Ultra-Block® is a product of Backer RodMfg. • in areas exposed to harsh chemicals.
